Having a rainbow of fruit and vegetables in your diet is important in general, but especially when you’re fighting a virus! Sometimes a hangover can be vicious, so vicious in fact that ‘can you die from a hangover’ is one of the most googled questions on the internet (no we aren’t kidding). The sufferer usually experiences headache, nausea, dizziness, tiredness, confusion and an almost unquenchable thirst. This is mainly due to dehydration, immune inflammatory response (after all alcohol is a poison), poor quality sleep and a drop in blood sugar.

Natural Relief: Generally a hangover just has to run its course and we strongly urge you NOT to follow the ‘hair of the dog’ method, which is 100% a myth. However, you can dilute the symptoms by drinking plenty of water followed by a green juice with magnesium, alkalization from greens and a little fruit to level your blood sugar.
